Nagae+ is a Japanese brand from the Toyama prefecture in Japan, a region renowned for metal processing. Skilled craftsmen exercise traditional techniques, like hand polishing, when creating their products. You may notice the beautiful irregularities on the surface of the bracelet, which is attributed to the fact that they used two different molds: Echizen hand-kneaded Japanese paper on one side and Italian watercolor paper on the other — elements of east and west exhibited in a single accessory. In addition, due to superior craftsmanship, the tin bracelet is astoundingly malleable and fits most wrist sizes and some may even opt to wear it as a tricep cuff.
This is the very first item I purchased for Mikan. It is so special to me; I actually own one myself. I love how cool it is to the skin, how I can manipulate its form to fit wherever I wish to wear it, its non-uniform texture, its ambitious character -- most of all, its versatility. This piece goes with absolutely everything, and can be used for both casual and posh affairs. I had to exercise restraint during the photoshoot, as I nearly used it in all the looks I styled for the ‘Ah-Ping’ Collection. I would personally slither it over the cuff of the Marni Denim Jacket. Such a cool way to rock it.
Caring instructions: I would suggest having this piece professionally cleaned. Avoid moisture as much as possible when wearing it, and store it in a cool dark place.
